Research Interests of Quazi Tafsirul Islam:
Navigating Multidisciplinary Waters with a Focus on Sustainability

With an academic and professional journey spanning over a decade, Quazi Tafsirul Islam stands as a beacon of multidisciplinary research at North South University. His interests meander through the fields of Strategy, Entrepreneurship, Organizational Behavior, Human Resources, Accounting, and Management Information Systems, culminating in a special focus on Circular Economy and Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

 Bridging Academia and Industry

One of my unique traits is his ability to create synergies between academia and industry. His recent work includes research on the motivators and inhibitors of life insurance in Bangladesh, funded by MetLife Bangladesh, and a series of studies examining Human Resource Accounting practices within Bangladeshi firms. This collaborative approach not only amplifies the impact of his work but also informs best practices within various sectors.

 Championing Sustainable Development

A fervent advocate for Sustainable Development Goal 12 (SDG 12), I work tirelessly to raise awareness and influence policy changes related to sustainability issues. His published books, including "Fostering Sustainable Businesses in Emerging Economies," serve as resources for researchers and policy-makers looking to reconcile business goals with sustainable practices.
